The Oyster Industry is a significant and developing aquaculture industry that relies on the maintenance of good water quality and other environmental standards for its success.
The oysters of the region have been highly awarded, testimony to the quality of farming and recognition of the great environment in which they grow.
The oyster growers of the Sapphire Coast are committed to protecting the health of their estuaries, however many of the risks cannot be tackled by the industry alone.
